While assessing the canonical Scriptural renditions of the theme of the origins of mankind through the prism of Biblical anthropology, we face a fascinating conundrum. Surprisingly, it appears that the Book of Genesis exhibits not only one, but two parallel, self-sufficient and entirely unrelated narratives about the etiology of human nature. They unfold in the first two chapters separately, as independent sequels with autonomous scenario
