Since February 24, 2022 the collection of the only large-scale Korsak’s Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art in Ukraine was evacuated for preservation and protection due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

On March 9, 2024, KMCUA - the Korsark's Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art in Lutsk opened an updated main exposition, supplementing it with a newly created section of digital art. The "Genesis" project opened with an immersive environment by Oksana Chepelyk, which was developed within research residency at Iméra of Aix-Marseille University.

The opening of the updated exposition of contemporary Ukrainian art became a landmark event for Ukraine and a symbol of cultural resistance to the aggressor.
